Glendye Addresses Fayette Bar Association

The Fayette County Bar Association recently welcomed Adam R. Glendye, LPC, CPCS, founder of The Pursuit Counseling and board member of The Eden Project, as the featured speaker for its luncheon meeting. Glendye shared how the nonprofit is working to serve the more than 178,000 veterans living within 30 miles of downtown Fayetteville, Georgia, while encouraging legal professionals to embrace three principles that strengthen both their profession and the communities they serve: mental fitness, good outcomes, and collaboration. He challenged attendees to invest in their own mental fitness as the foundation for serving clients well, to intentionally pursue meaningful outcomes beyond simply resolving cases, and to recognize the value of building strong interdisciplinary relationships with counselors, fiduciaries, expert witnesses, medical providers, and other trusted professionals.

Glendye emphasized that when individuals improve their mental fitness, they are better equipped to make healthy decisions, navigate conflict, and build stronger relationships, often preventing future legal challenges. He encouraged attorneys to view collaboration as a strength rather than a necessity, noting that the best client outcomes are achieved when professionals work together to address the legal, emotional, and practical needs of those they serve. Through presentations like this, The Eden Project continues its mission of building resilient leaders, strengthening communities, and ensuring that veterans, first responders, and their families have access to the support and partnerships they need to thrive.
