Clark was a stray dog brought into the shelter several weeks ago, around 65 lbs and 6 years old. He has been people and dog friendly from the very beginning, being drawn to visit and say hi to any human that might cross his path.

Every shelter volunteer that walked him has mentioned how fun he is to take on walks! Clark is spending some quality time with a foster family and they confirm that “He is a very calm, gentle boy and just loves being around people. He’s great with other dogs, loves to go on his walks, and very easy. He loves his treats and is house trained. His behavior is beyond exceptional.”

Clark is a great listener too. What else can we ask for?

If you would like to meet Clark, you can contact the Fayette County Animal Shelter, located at 1131 Highway 74 South in Peachtree City. The shelter is now open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. They can help you schedule a meet and greet for your family to meet Clark.  He is your perfect family dog!
