Sandy Creek High’s Amari Latimer is the Touchdown Club of Atlanta’s Mr. Georgia Award Winner. The honor is bestowed upon the state’s most outstanding football player.
Latimer, a senior running back, ran for 2,409 yards and 44 touchdowns, along with 4 more receiving touchdowns. A freshly-crowned state champion, Latimer is signed to play at West Virginia University.
Since 1938, the Touchdown Club of Atlanta has honored the best football players, coaches, and officials in Atlanta and throughout the nation.
