The Broncos made history. With a 49-38 win over J.C. Booth, Bennett’s Mill won the first boys county middle school basketball championship in school history.

“Winning the first county championship in boys basketball in school history is an amazing feeling, and it has been incredibly meaningful to be able to coach such great young men,” said head coach LV Hill III.

On top of that, it was also the first undefeated season in school history at 10-0.

“This was a truly special group to coach. They were unselfish, played for one another, and competed as a team,” said Hill. “What I am most proud of, however, is that they are some of the best students in the building.”

The champion Broncos are Emmanuel Abrifor, Kayden Brown, Noah Brown, Kaiden Elder, Blake Freeman, Andre Hardy, Grayson Humphrey, Kingston Shaw, Eli Shivers, Christian Van Dorn, and Miles Williams.

They are coached by LV Hill III and Marquis Reese.
