If you’re looking for a little sunshine in your life, Mimosa might just be the perfect pick. This 3-year-old beauty was brought to the shelter by a Good Samaritan after being found as a stray. We thought for certain she had owners who would come for her, but she now patiently waits for a new home with people who will love her.

Mimosa is a sweet soul who might seem a little shy and cautious at first, but give her a bit of time and she’ll gently warm up to you.  She will soon start showing off her adorably quirky personality. She’s bubbly, endearing, and just the right amount of silly. Whether it’s going for a walk, splashing in the water, or simply hanging out by your side, Mimosa knows how to enjoy the little things.

At just three years old, she’s the perfect age —young enough for adventure, but mature enough to appreciate a good afternoon nap.

Not sure about a lifetime commitment right away? Mimosa is available for both the Dog for a Day and Weekend Warrior programs, so you can spend some quality time getting to know her outside the shelter.

Mimosa is available for adoption at Fayette County Animal Shelter, located at 1131 Highway 74 South in Peachtree City. The shelter is open seven days a week—Monday through Friday from 11–5, and weekends from 12–5. Come meet Mimosa and let her bring a little extra sparkle to your life!
