PEACHTREE CITY, GA (June 3, 2025) – The Healing Bridge Clinic is pleased to announce it has received a generous grant of $7,200 from Clothes Less Traveled Thrift Shop. This significant funding will be used to purchase and install integrated wall units for four of the clinic’s recently expanded exam rooms.
The integrated wall units are a crucial addition to the clinic, ensuring that volunteer medical providers have immediate access to essential diagnostic tools such as otoscopes, ophthalmoscopes, and thermometers in each exam room. This enhancement will streamline patient care and improve efficiency for the clinic’s dedicated volunteers.
The new exam rooms are part of a larger renovation and expansion project completed by the Healing Bridge Clinic in 2024, designed to increase its capacity to serve the uninsured residents of Fayette and surrounding counties.
“We are incredibly grateful to Clothes Less Traveled for this vital grant,” said Mike Conaway, Executive Director of Healing Bridge Clinic. “These integrated wall units are more than just equipment; they represent a commitment to equipping our volunteer providers with the best tools to deliver high-quality, compassionate care. This support directly impacts our ability to serve more patients effectively within our newly renovated facility.”
Kimber Huff-Wilk, Executive Director of Clothes Less Traveled, shared her enthusiasm for the partnership. “Clothes Less Traveled is proud to support the Healing Bridge Clinic and their essential work in our community. We believe in investing in organizations that make a tangible difference in people’s lives, and the Healing Bridge Clinic’s dedication to providing free healthcare aligns perfectly with our mission. We are thrilled that our grant will contribute to a more efficient and well-equipped environment for both patients and providers.”
