Green Ginger sent out a message via social media that they would be closed until Tuesday May 6 at 11 a.m. for retraining their team though the Department of Public Health. This closing comes after their abysmal score of 29 on their latest health report card. 

At least 27 violations were noted include cleaning issues, food storage issues (raw chicken over cooked, for example), and even problems with sanitizing cloths on the floor. Safe to say, it was a mess. 

Many people on social media are hoping that they will pull it together and return, and others are vowing to never eat there again. 

The Department of Public Health gives restaurants the opportunity to fix violations before shutting them down, typically. Citizens are watching to see what will happen with Green Ginger.
