Fayetteville, GA: Patricia Woodard, practitioner of Christian Science healing and public speaker, will present her talk, “Never too late to experience freedom,” on March 9, 2:00-3:00 p.m., at First Church of Christ, Scientist, 245 Hwy. 314, Fayetteville, GA 30214.
The talk will explore ideas that navigate through the choppy waters of our times with its fears and uncertainties. Actually, not just navigating through, but lifting us out of these threatening experiences and bringing healing. This talk is based on universal healing precepts found in the Holy Bible, and especially in Christ Jesus’ life and teachings, showing how they are available for anyone to understand and experience through the lens of Christian Science. Woodard shares healings from her own experiences and those of others who have felt that these waters were not just scary, but it was too late…the falls were right there, so to speak.
Woodard will also touch on the life of Mary Baker Eddy, who came to understand, confirm, and teach what she felt was original Christian healing. Eddy herself said she was especially inspired by Jesus’ demand, “He that believes on me, the works that I do will he do also; and greater works than these will he do, because I go unto my Father” (found in the Gospel of John 14:12 in the Bible).
Patricia Woodard has been a Christian Science practitioner for many years, helping people through this scientific approach to prayer. She travels from her home in Dallas, Texas to speak to audiences as a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship. The talk is free, open to the surrounding communities, and sponsored by First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Fayetteville, GA.
