Meet Ellison: An energetic, loyal, happy companion who is ready to find his forever home. This 1.5-year-old pup has a heart full of love to give.
Ellison has called Fayette County Animal Shelter home for almost 8 months. The shelter does not currently have a foster program, but with the dedication of our Director Tracy Thompson, a temporary exception was made for this long term resident. During time with his foster family, he has been attending pack walks and group training sessions with local professional dog trainers TAO K9 Unleashed.
Ellison is house broken, crate trained, and knows basic commands. He will do best with an active adopter or family with older children who will give him plenty of live and affection. He is 50 pounds and loves toys, walks, hiking, and playing games. He enjoys being sous chef in the kitchen while you cook, just be ready with the cheese tax!
This sweet boy will thrive with someone who can offer structure and is willing to continue his training. If you are ready to come home and be greeted with pure joy and a full body butt wiggle, this is your dog!
He comes with 2 sessions of group obedience training, a photography session, and a take home care package including a bed and other essentials provided by his foster family.
