An old friend made the hat designs of Inman Elementary Pre-K students come to life.

Sharon Langston used to work in the front office at Inman before retiring a few years ago. When she ran into Pre-K teacher Angie McMillan last spring, Langston mentioned how she would love to work with McMillan’s future class on designing and creating their own personalized hats.

Langston visited with the class and read “Little Bear’s Winter Hat.” She provided students with their own crayons and a template to design their very own winter hat, then she got to work crafting hats for each student based on their unique coloring creations.

“Students were very excited to receive their own personally designed hat from Sharon in just a few weeks,” said McMillan. “They have been wearing their warm hats during the cold weather.”
