The Fayette County Chapter of the NAACP is proud to announce its upcoming Health and Wellness Fair, scheduled for June 29, 2024, at the Lafayette Education Center, 205 Lafayette Ave. Bldg. D., Fayetteville, GA 30214 (Behind Arby’s). This event is set to provide the community with valuable health resources, expert advice, and practical demonstrations on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
The focus of the fair will be on educating attendees about proper diet, exercise, and nutrition – key components for a healthy life. In our commitment to community health, we will offer free health screenings including blood pressure checks, stress tests, and diabetes assessments, aimed at early detection and management of common health issues.
A host of health professionals, trainers, and representatives from medical facilities will be on site, offering their expertise and guidance. This event is a unique opportunity for the community to interact with health experts, gain insights into maintaining good health, and access a wealth of information and resources.
We understand the importance of health education and provide these vital services to our community. The Health and Wellness Fair is more than just an event; it’s a community initiative to promote health awareness and empower individuals to make informed health choices.
We invite local health businesses and professionals to join us as partners in this endeavor. Your participation will be instrumental in enriching the fair and enhancing the health and well-being of our community.
Mark your calendars for a day filled with health education, activities, and opportunities to connect with health professionals. Let’s come together to make health a priority!
