Whitewater High’s Brandon Bales is the Most Positive Boys Coach in South Atlanta. Bales, a health and PE teacher, is an assistant coach for baseball, boys basketball, and softball.

For the tenth consecutive year, the Positive Athlete organization named their Regional Award Winners for the South Atlanta Region, where student-athletes representing 27 different boys’ and girls’ high school sports, two coaches, and Ola High School were selected as the “Most Positive” in their categories.

This year, over 6,800 nominations from coaches, principals, athletic directors, teachers, and parents were submitted for the Positive Athlete program state-wide, representing over 420 public and private high schools. Under 2 percent of coach nominees are recognized as a regional winner by Positive Athlete Georgia.
