A pair of Whitewater High alums were in the mix as Reinhardt University won its first-ever NAIA Women’s Lacrosse National Championship.
Whitewater Class of 2022 grads Carly Harris and Madison Hasty helped hoist the trophy as the Eagles beat Lawrence Tech 18-10. Harris, an attacker, scored 1 goal in 9 games played this year. Hasty, the team’s starting goalie, posted a 15-1 record over the course of the season.
There was also a Cat connection on the sidelines in assistant coach Brian Landers, who was a community coach at Whitewater from 2013-2018.
