Peachtree City Elementary enjoyed an epic experience when a paleontologist gave a presentation on fossils and organisms.

Rick Spears with the Fernbank Science Center wowed the 3rd grade with a talk about how fossils are formed while highlighting the various roles of paleontologists. Students learned how paleontologists study fossils to learn about the environments and animals of the past. Each student even received fossil shark teeth, which is the state fossil of Georgia.
