The Patriots are headed back to the state championship. The Sandy Creek boys basketball team traveled to Savannah for a Saturday showdown and beat the Carver Tigers 66-32 in the Class AAA state basketball semifinals.
Sandy Creek puts their championship repeat dreams on the line Friday, March 8 at 3 p.m. at the Macon Centreplex. They face the 20-11 Johnson Atomsmashers from Savannah.

The Patriots are 26-3 overall on the season with none of the losses coming to a fellow Class AAA team.
