Fayetteville, Georgia – December 1, 2023 — The much-anticipated Miracle on Main Street Christmas Parade + Market has been postponed to Saturday, December 9, due to forecasted rain. The activity schedule remains the same, including the downtown parade beginning at 5 p.m., the market at 5:30 p.m., and the fireworks display at 8:30 p.m.

The holiday favorite Downtown Christmas Parade will begin in the Fayette County High School parking lot on Tiger Trail, wrap around Fayetteville City Hall & City Center Park, wrap around the Historic Fayette County Courthouse on the Square, and then return to the Fayette County High School parking lot.

The Christmas Market in the park will feature visits with Santa and the Grinch, retail vendors, and other seasonal festivities. A grand fireworks display will cap the evening.

Another highlight to this year’s Miracle on Main Street will be the raffle drawing for a brand-new 2023 Ford F-150 pickup truck. Raffle tickets, which are limited to 1,000 for sale, are $100 each. Proceeds from raffle ticket sales will help the Fayetteville Fire Department with several Fire Safety Education initiatives as well as supporting the efforts of The Eden Project, which offers much-needed support to military veterans reintegrating to civilian life. Tickets are sold through The Eden Project’s website at www.eden-project.com/raffle.
