Residents can rock out their favorite 80s’ style while enjoying throwback music, superior food and drink and contribute to a good cause at the ‘Back To The Future’ Gala on October 21 at The Crowne Plaza in Peachtree City.
“We’re excited about this unique event which gives us a chance to make a difference while also having a great time. The gala will be nothing short of an 80s-themed MET gala and that’s our assurance,” said Leigh Curry, Executive Director of Southside Support, Inc.
The event is hosted by Southside Support Inc., a non-profit dedicated to linking special needs families to their communities by providing support, workshops, connections, and resources. Recent examples of their work include an annual symposium that features an educational forum and resources expo and a special needs accommodation zone, a vehicle which allows special needs families a safe space for diaper changing, feeding, or regrouping at local area events.
Though Southside Support Inc. is based in Peachtree City, their support base covers counties throughout the area south of Atlanta.
While the gala will be filled with entertainment, attendees will also have an opportunity to meet some of the team and families affiliated with Southside Support Inc.
“We invite you to join us for a night of inspiration and impact. Your presence and support will contribute directly to our mission of fostering inclusivity and providing essential resources to those who need them most,” Curry said.
Tickets begin at $150 each. Attendees may also purchase a table. A live and silent auction will be on hand and prizes will be awarded for the best 80s look!
