0Special guests helped make story time extra fun. Coca-Cola partnered with Fayetteville Elementary to launch the 2nd Grade Reading Blitz with the Tiger Cubs.
Coca-Cola Bottling Company United recognizes and is celebrating Diversity and Inclusion Week. It is an opportunity for their management team to partner with and give back to the community. They are very fond of Fayetteville Elementary and wanted to come spend time with the students. Three representatives from Coca-Cola rotated through 2nd grade classrooms sharing some of their favorite stories from the popular Pigeon series by Mo Willems.
The partnership is extra special for Assistant Principal Ashley Judy who remembers taking part in a similar event when she was a scholar at Hood Elementary. She still collects Coca-Cola memorabilia to this day.
