McIntosh High’s Jason Eisele has been honored for his excellence in teaching by the Georgia Council on Economic Education (GCEE). Eisele is the 2023 Georgia Economics Teacher of the Year.
Each year, GCEE honors an outstanding K-12 classroom teacher who has contributed to economic and personal finance education through their excellent teaching skills.
Eisele, who is the school’s social studies department chair and boys varsity basketball coach, is the first winner from Fayette County Public Schools since 2015.
