Enjoy this interactive demonstration and chat about your dinner tablescape for the season. Decorating enthusiast Bethany Vickery gives advice on embellishing the table in the most festive way that will impress all around. A Day of Infamy – Wednesday, December 7 – 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Fayette Senior Services (FSS) – Fayetteville location at The Life Enrichment Center, 4 Center Drive: “A date which will live in infamy – the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan.” – Franklin D. Roosevelt. In honor of December 7th, Willard Womack with the Commerative Air Force flies back in history to give us a closer look into the history of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Hear the heroic stories of how the United States banded together during this time of tragedy and the effect the attack had on the rest of the war. But they aren’t always compatible with a healthy lifestyle. Join us for a cooking demonstration with Piedmont Fayette Diabetes Educator Sarah Hankes. Learn how to make some delicious holiday treats that will also be good for you and also enjoy a small tasting!
