Wee Wizards at the Tyrone Public Library

Potterheads from inside the city limits of Tyrone, visiting our town from England, and all areas in between celebrated the end of the Summer Reading Program and the birthday of the world’s most famous boy wizard on July 30 at Tyrone Public Library.  “Explore the Potter-bilities had music, face-painting, a scavenger hunt, and games galore. Wee Wizards to Hogwarts Alumni were sorted into houses, made potions and wands, and ate birthday cake. Pictured Analisa Wamsley supervises as Chandler Nichols frees some house elves at the S.P.E.W. sock toss. (Any socks not used for elf freeing will be donated to the Bloom Closet to help area foster families. The library will continue to receive sock donations until Sept.9)
