The amazing talents of Sandy Creek High were on display for the whole city to see. Among over 700 entries from 80 different schools, the artwork of Rula Amria, Naarai Berrian, and Chandler Clark was showcased at the annual Atlanta High School Art Exhibition.

Rula Amria’s ceramic mask “Tragedy of the Bees,” Naarai Berrian’s ceramic mask “Soley Kouche,” and Chandler Clark’s oil painting “Me!” were displayed at the Dogwood Festival at Piedmont Park in April.

Clark’s painting was also selected with the top works to be part of a mini-show reception at the Art Institute of Atlanta for a week prior to the Dogwood.

Sandy Creek visual art teacher Stephanie Stein was asked to pick the top 8 works created by her students for consideration, and the creations of Amria, Berrian, and Clark were then picked for the exhibition. A panel of artists selected the works for the highly-competitive, juried show.
