Conversational Japanese

Thursdays, May 5th & 19th, 2022, 6:00pm —Theater Room

Join the Peachtree City Library for an introduction to learning Japanese. Are you already learning Japanese? Come have a chat and practice your conversational skills. This FREE event will be held on the lower level of the library in the Theater Room. For ages 14+ and all skill levels. No previous experience necessary. Seating limited. Registration required. FOL “Books & Brews” Fundraising Event: Author Lynn Cullen Book Talk & Signing

Thursday, May 12th, 2022, 7:00pm —Line Creek Brewing Co.

Please join the Friends of the Peachtree City Library at Line Creek Brewing on Thursday, May 12th, as we welcome award-winning author Lynn Cullen, who will discuss her book Mrs. Poe, in commemoration of Mrs. Poe’s 200th birthday. The Friends of the Peachtree City Library will collect $1 for every pint sold of the limited-edition Friends Pilsnerbetween 5/12-5/15, as well as $1 for every six-pack sold until it’s gone. On-site book sales will be available courtesy of Book Miser. This is a drop-in event, no registration required.

Join the Peachtree City Library for a book talk and signing with celebrated authors Karen White, Beatriz Williams, and Lauren Willig as we celebrate the release of their new book The Lost Summers of Newport. Bookmark Design Contest VotingBegins!

DEADLINE: May 19, 2022

Bookmark Designs are in! Now it’s time to vote for your favorite. Categories include: most original, most colorful, and most creative. Vote for the top category in each grade level, Elementary, Middle, High School, and Adult. Vote at the library or online at https://forms.gle/ENqCnmZw57wZGcym9. The deadline to vote is Thursday, May 19th, 2022.

Winners will be announced online Monday, May 23rd to coincide with the Peachtree City Library Summer Reading Kickoff.
