Dolphin trio dives in on robot build

North Fayette Elementary is building the skills to make their students successful. The 5th grade trio of Morgan Osei, Danna Moreno, and Bri Simpson built and programmed a robot.

Robotics and programming are among the activities that North Fayette STEM students in grades 3-5 participate in, and this project was made possible thanks to a donation by the Fayette County Retired Educators Association.

“They worked as a team to build, troubleshoot issues, and complete the project,” said STEM technology specialist Daniel Barry. “Completion of a project gives our students a sense of accomplishment and builds self-esteem and confidence.
