FCHS’s Moss honored as top student-athlete

Fayette County High’s Brandon Moss can add another honor to his resume. Moss has been named Student-Athlete of the Year by The Student-Athlete Achievement Program/Youth Education and Sports (TSAAP/YES).

Winners of the award are examples of what a student-athlete is and what a student-athlete does on a consistent basis as modeled in the book “The Student-Athlete Playbook: Success in the Classroom, Sports & Life!”

A linebacker and running back for the Tigers, Moss racked up a host of accolades over his senior year, including 1st Team All-Region and All-County, and he will play football this fall at Western Kentucky University.
