After reading of the proposed crypto mining facility on Ga. Highway 54, I was astonished. For I have been following the citizens response and ongoing council meetings of the facility built in Murphy, N.C.
The main concern seems to be the amount of noise generated by the large fans required for cooling. Needless to say that the citizens in that area are highly upset. For they weren’t forewarned of the facility and nor the consequences thereof.
I hope there’s more research, thought and community awareness put into this project than in Murphy.
