The rest of the state now knows what Fayette County knows, Rosie Gwin and Exceptional Children’s Services are truly exceptional.

At the Georgia Association of Educational Leaders (GAEL) summer conference, Gwin, Director of Exceptional Children’s Services for Fayette County Public Schools, received the Jim Puckett Outstanding Educator Award for G-CASE (Georgia Council of Administrators of Special Education).

“It’s exciting to be recognized by my colleagues across the state,” said Gwin, acknowledging that the award reflects on the work of the entire Exceptional Children’s Services team.

Honorees must possess an exemplary record of service for the profession of educational leadership and be a positive role model for others.
