0If you stumbled into a Peeples Elementary kindergarten class on “Zoo Day,” you might have been faced with lions and tigers and bears (and lots of other animals, too). Oh my!
As a way to show off all they learned during their science unit on animals, students made habitats, classified animals by physical characteristics, and completed informational writings. It was a cooperative learning experience, as they visited between classrooms to complete an animal scavenger hunt.
