A Sept. 25 garage fire at a residence on Fountain Head off South Peachtree Parkway consumed the garage and a small area in a room above it, but resulted in no injuries.

Peachtree City Fire Department spokesman Jeff Felmet said units responded to the residence Friday night, finding the garage on fire.

Felmet said the fire penetrated to a room in the house above the garage, and did ignite a golf cart in the driveway.

The fire was extinguished and resulted in no injuries.

Felmet said the cause of the fire is under investigation.
