A Town Hall Community Conversation about Policing and Race will take place Friday, July 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Southern Ground Amphitheater in Fayetteville. The event is hosted by youth leaders and sponsored by Fayette FACTOR in cooperation with the City of Fayetteville.
The questions, “What are we doing now?” and “What can we do better?” will be addressed by local law enforcement officials and an attorney. Panelists will include Fayette County Sheriff Barry Babb, Fayetteville Chief of Police Scott Gray, Peachtree City Chief of Police Janet Moon, Tyrone Chief of Police Randy Mundy, Texas A&M Student Tori Davis, and Attorney at Law Wayne B. Kendell. There will be special remarks by the new District Attorney Marie Broder.
Masks are required during the event and seating will be socially distanced. Event capacity will be capped to ensure social distancing as well.
