The Fayette County Board of Education will hold two public comment sessions for the proposed 2021 fiscal year budget at its regular monthly meetings scheduled for June 15 and July 20, both starting at 7 p.m.

Due to social distancing requirements, the June 15 board meeting will be held in a virtual format and live streamed on the school system’s website, www.fcboe.org. Public comments can be made using “Procedures for Public Comment During FCBOE Virtual Board Meetings” found on the school system’s website. Click on the “Board of Ed” tab at the top and then select “Board Meeting Schedule” from the menu.

Protocols for the July 20 meeting will be determined closer to the date based on the State of Georgia social distancing requirements and guidance.
