The McIntosh High School Cheerleaders won the Georgia High School Association State Cheerleading Championship on Saturday, November 16. The State Championship concluded an undefeated season for the Chiefs.

The cheerleaders won with an impressive score of 106 out of 107.

Coaches are Shannon Bednarowski, Lynne Brushchetti, Danielle Wolf and Catie Callen.

Members of the 2019 5-A State Championship Cheerleading Team are as follows:

Caroline Bach, Amelia Benson, Emery Boerstler, Sor’et  Braxton, Macy DeBoy, Brianna Dreadon, Julianne Elwell, Kingsley Garrett, Lila Hacklander, Akira Hogans, Abigail Hooper, Sophie Marshall, Maylen Meszar, Lexi Phillips, Maddie Claire Sanders, Alyssa Sherman, Lauren Soriano, Camryn Wilson, Lizzie Bloy, and Graciela Zamora.
