Main Street Fayetteville announced Thursday afternoon that the Frost Moon Festival to be held Nov. 15 has been cancelled due to expected inclement weather.

“Unfortunately, the weather won’t cooperate with us to allow the much-anticipated Frost Moon Festival to happen tomorrow night, Nov. 15. We looked to reschedule the to following Friday, but that weather forecast doesn’t look much better,” the Main Street notification said.

The first-ever Frost Moon Festival was to serve as the replacement event for The Great Pumpkin Festival in October that was also cancelled due to inclement weather.
