The Lexington Circle commercial and residential area on Ga. Highway 54 East in Peachtree City will be getting a new business. Peachtree City planning commissioners on Nov. 11 approved the conceptual site plan for a 3,600 sq. ft. medical office building.

Approved on a 3-0 vote, the medical office building will be situated on a .9-acre undeveloped parcel located at the intersection of Lexington Circle and Worth Court near World Gym.

The site is zoned LUC-16 (limited use commercial), which accommodated the proposed use.

The proposal included 21 parking spaces, which meets parking requirements, city planning staff said.

Planning staff recommended approval.
