Two recent graduates from the McIntosh High School Class of 2019 received the American Legion School Award from Fayette County Post 105. Above, Joe Bowler, member of Post 105, presented the award for the female graduate to Kate Cullen, left. Below, Owen Henahan, right, received the award for the male graduate.  The awards recognize those graduates for their qualities of courage, honor, leadership, patriotism, scholarship and service.  Post 105 is the oldest military veterans organization in Fayette County and meets the second Monday of each month at the historic Log Cabin in Fayetteville. For more information about the local American Legion post, visitamericanlegionpost105ga.org.
