Fay Stephens Trammell, 89, of Fayetteville passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Atlanta, Ga. on June 9, 1929 to the late Gwendolyn and Howard Stephens. She was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
Fay was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Trammell; her parents, and sister, Ann Bonner. She is survived by her daughters, Paula T. Cosby and Ann T. Moore (Jerry); her sons, Robert P. Trammell (Jan); her grandchildren, Kimberly Ramsey (Tony), Robert Moore, Paul Moore (Juliann), Jill R. Cosby, Rachel Campbell (Wes), Kenneth A. Cosby, Robert B. Trammell, and Dave M. Cosby; her great-grandchildren, Taylor and Rachel Ramsey, Carley and Seth Campbell, Paul Cosby, Douglas Cosby, Emily Alford, and Isla and Lily Hodges; her great-great-grandchildren, Kylie and Lily Cosby; her sister, Joan Scott; and her brother, Howard W. Stephens.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2019 in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Burial will follow the service in the Mausoleum at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. The family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
