Shryl Lynn Richards, age 55, of Fayetteville

Ms. Shryl Lynn Richards, age 55, of Fayetteville, passed away February 10, 2019, at Piedmont-Fayette Hospital. She was born in Portsmouth, Va., daughter of the late Terry Earl Richards and Edna May Wright Richards. Shryl was a loving daughter and sister, and a care-giver to everyone. She helped with the children in her family and the children in her neighborhood. She was a dreamer who loved country music, traveling and animals. She never turned away a stray cat or dog.

She is survived by her brothers and a sister-in-law: Charles Terry and Cindy Richards of Griffin, and Daisy Richards of Sumter, S.C.; sister and brother-in-law: Sue-An and Brian Pfeiffer of Fayetteville; numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 13, at 11 a.m., in Moody Memorial Gardens in Zebulon.

Moody-Daniel Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
