Robert Wayne Hale, 54, of Fayetteville passed away at his residence on Thursday morning, September 27, 2018.

He was born in Charleston, S.C. and raised in Manchester, Tenn. Robert proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He founded the very successful Hale Aircraft, Inc. in 1988.  Robert enjoyed spending time at the lake with family and friends.

Robert was preceded in death by his uncle, J. Walter Hale and his sister, Deby Borden.

He is survived by his son, Robert Alexander Hale of Hampton, his daughter, Alyson and Lucas Taylor of Marietta and their mother, Terry Hale; his sons, Bryce Hale and Braden Hale, both of Fayetteville, and their mother, Tracy Hale; his father, Robert Lee and Patsy Hale of Manchester, Tenn.; his brother, Jerry and Kathy Hale of Lebanon, Tenn.; his aunt, Alice Hale of Manchester, Tenn,; and his best friend, Mark and Tracy Tabor of Manchester, Tenn.; and several beloved nieces and nephews.

His funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 1, 2018 in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville, Ga., with Dr. Mel Blackaby officiating.  Burial followed the service at Brooks Memorial Gardens, Brooks, Ga.  The family received friends from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at the funeral home.
