Paul Lee Bowlden, 92, of Fayetteville passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2018. He was born on September 23, 1925 in Fayette County to the late Katie Sue and Emmett Philip Bowlden. Paul was a lifetime member of Lisbon Baptist Church. He was retired from Eastern Airlines after 30 years in the Ramp Service Department. He loved working on the farm and riding on his tractor. He also had many hobbies, which included woodworking and leather craft.
Paul is survived by his wife of 66 years, Betty Ann Bowlden of Fayetteville; his sons, Terry Bowlden of Fayetteville and Mike Bowlden (Donna) of Butler; his grandchildren, Whitney Herrington and Lee Ann Bowlden; and his brother, James Bowlden.
His funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Lisbon Baptist Church, Fayetteville, with Rev. David Rathbun officiating. Burial will follow the service at Lisbon Church Cemetery. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday evening, August 30, 2018 at Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, Ga.
