Marjorie Willoughby Harris, 89, of Fayetteville passed away July 25, 2018.
She was born in Fayetteville on September 16, 1928 to J.C. and Cora Mae Willoughby. Along with her husband, she owned Harris Grocery for over 50 years.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 58 years, Roy Wilson Harris; son, Raymond Harris; sister, Polly Willoughby Davis; and brother, Billy Willoughby. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Lynn (Lamar) Cox; grandchildren, Teresa Cox, Tim (Michelle) Cox, Todd (Haley) Cox, Spencer (Denise) Harris, and Danny Harris; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grand-children; sister, Lizzie Mae Willoughby Peek; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Friday, July 27, 2018, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville with Rev. Larry Stegall officiating. Burial to follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park, Fairburn. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
