0Ricki Gene Scheer, 65, of Peachtree City, Ga., died Thursday, June 28, 2018. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. she was the daughter of the late Daniel Scheer and Lillian Hirsch Scheer and sister to the late Barry Scheer.
Ricki served her country in the US Navy and had worked for New Jersey Bell Telephone Company and retired from Bellsouth after 25 years. Following her retirement, she worked at Publix.
Survivors include her daughter and son in law: Melissa and Doug Hubert of Evans, Ga.; companion for 22 years: Douglas Jacobson of Peachtree City, Ga.; sister and brother in law: Cindy and Clayton Blanchard of Bethlehem, Pa. and four grandchildren: Daniel, Madison, Carter and Reagan Hubert.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to The National Kidney Foundation.
