The Rotary Club of Peachtree City recently inducted two military veterans in honor of Military Appreciation Month. It was the first time in the club’s history that three African-Americans were inducted at the same time, said club President John Belizaire, who noted the work of Rotarians with his village in Haiti when he was a young child. Pictured, from left, are club membership coordinator Lynn Gable, inductee Tony Stewart, inductee Amber Cornwell, past Rotary District Governor John Cornwell, club President John Belizaire and inductee Shawn James.
