Sandra Valerie Neu (Sandie), age 74, of Fayetteville, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2018, at Southwest Christian Care in Union City. She was born on December 9, 1943, in Queens, N.Y. to the late Robert and Valerie White.
Sandra was a devoted Christian and a loving and faithful wife and mother. Sandra was a graduate from West Hempstead H.S. on Long Island and inducted into the Honor Society in the 9th grade and Leader’s Club. She was a proud alumni of Wagner College and Hofstra University and went on to work for MetLife Insurance. Sandra loved volunteering at the South Nassau Communities Hospital located in Oceanside, N.Y. and helping others. Sandra also loved and supported the U.S. Military and was a faithful supporter of President Donald Trump.
Sandra is survived by her husband of 48 years, Barry R. Neu; daughter, Debra L. Neu (Scott Peruzzi); grand dog, Harley; and beloved family friend, Millard Lovelace. Sandra Neu’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services, Piedmont Fayette Hospital and loving staff at Southwest Christian Care.
