Herschell Eugene Morris, 86, of Fayetteville passed away February 4, 2018.
Herschell was born in Mt. Vernon, Illinois on September 5, 1931 to Freeman and Wilma Morris. He retired from Delta Airlines after 40 years as a pilot instructor. Herschell served in the US Air Force. He was also a Mason and member of Fayetteville Lodge 711.
Herschell was preceded in death by his wife, Leatrice Nell Morris; sons, Allen Eugene Morris and Alan Freeman Morris; and his parents. He is survived by his daughter, Wendy Morris-Johnson and husband Charles W. Johnson; and son, Wesley Mark Morris.
A graveside service was held Friday, February 9, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org.
