0Mr. Robert Patrick “Bo” Fisher, 82, of Fayetteville, passed away January 16, 2018. He was born April 23, 1935 in Atlanta, Ga.
Bo was preceded in death by his parents, James H. and Louise E. Fisher; his siblings, Jim Fisher, Betty Fisher, and Ruth Ann Green; nephew, Steve Fisher; and longtime friend, Rick Castleberry.
He is survived by nephews and nieces, Rocky Fisher, David (Elizabeth) Fisher, Eddie “Butch” Green, Susan (Mike) Bishop, Robbie Green, Cindy (Gil) Fisher, Mark Fisher, Pattie (Steve) Fisher; six great nephews; and three great nieces.
Bo grew up in south Atlanta and later moved to East Point where he graduated from Russell High School. He then served in the United States Air Force in the 1950’s where he earned an honorable discharge. His career spanned decades in the wholesale floral industry in Atlanta, Tucker and Fayetteville.
The family would like to thank Donny McElroy, a great friend of Bo for his compassion.
A memorial service to celebrate Bo’s life will be held this spring and will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Atlanta Humane Society.
