Don Frederick Flockhart, 76, of Fayetteville, Ga. passed away November 8, 2017.
He was born on December 5, 1940 in Billings, Mont. to the late William Frederick and Ida Theresa Weber Flockhart. He proudly served is country in the United States Air Force and was also a dedicated member of North Fayette United Methodist Church in Fayetteville. He loved his church friends. Don was an avid golfer and loved being with his golf brothers at the Shoal Creek Golf Course. He was an aircraft master mechanic all his life and a “jack of all trades” with his skills.
Don is survived by his wife, Minka Flockhart; sons, Don J. Flockhart and his wife, Silvia of Fayetteville and Matthew S. Flockhart and his son Matthew Flockhart, Jr. of Winston-Salem, N.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, one sister, and his parents.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at North Fayette United Methodist Church, Fayetteville with Reverend Beverly Casstevens officiating. The family loving request in lieu of flowers, donations to North Fayette United Methodist Church, http://nfumc.com.
