Ara R. Callaway, 95, of Fayetteville, passed away on November 6, 2017. She was born in Fayetteville, GA on November 24, 1921 to the late George and Ellie Jane Stinchcomb. She graduated from Fayette County High School in 1939. She was married to the late Nile Callaway. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandchildren and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Ara is survived by her son, Bill (Virginia) Callaway; her daughter, Ellen (Bill) McLucas; her grandchildren, Todd (Melanie) Callaway, Mark (Kem) Callaway and Shawn (Beth) Callaway; her great-grandchildren, Kassie and Ricky Callaway, Lanie and Peyton Callaway, Mason Callaway, Haley Phillips and Taylor Wilder.
The family will receive friends from 1–3 p.m. on November 10, 2017 at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on November 10, 2017 at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville, with Mr. Dan Langford officiating.
