Deputy Fire Chief Tom Bartlett said the fire was fought with tanker trucks, as there are no hydrants in the area. The resident returned home to find the home on fire. She then attempted to save several dogs at the residence, but they perished in the home. Bartlett said the fire is under investigation. Photo/Fayette County ES.
