The McIntosh Chiefs volleyball team earned a spot in the AAAAA state championship match with Wednesday’s win over Starr’s Mill.
They swept the best-of-three match, winning 25-16, 25-9 and 25-17.
McIntosh will play Buford Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Marietta High School for the title.
The team won the AAAAA crown in 2013 and was AAAA state champions in 2007.
