Imogene Moody McAfee, age 80, of Fayetteville passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Pruitt Healthcare in Greenville, Ga. surrounded by family. She was born February 19, 1937 in Greensboro, Ga. to the late Alex Moody and Amy Dell Moody.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her son Keith McAfee and brother Ronnie Moody.
She is survived by her loving husband, Frank McAfee; children, Teresa McAfee Cochran and her husband Bill, Karen McAfee Duckworth and her husband Gary; grandchildren, Wesley Whitwood, Krista Hancock, Brandon McAfee, Amanda Watters, Alex Watters, Kyle McAfee; 6 great grandchildren and siblings, Zerah Jordan and Ilee Still.
The funeral service was Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson Street, in Newnan. Burial followed the service at Camp Memorial Park in Fayetteville. The family received friends on Thursday from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
